Abstract
Este estudio identifica los aportes que hace Shakti Moda Consciente – SMC al desarrollo sostenible en el municipio de Jamundí - Valle del Cauca. Se parte de la idea que es un emprendimiento solidario y con un gran sentido ecológico que cobra relevancia y protagonismo en los nuevos retos del mercado mundial y la protección ambiental. El marco teórico que rige la presente investigación se ubica en la concepción de desarrollo sostenible de la ONU, bajo los tres pilares de sostenibilidad: crecimiento económico, inclusión social y protección del medio ambiente. Los datos de esta investigación son los documentos alusivos y relacionados a SMC y tres entrevistas a las mujeres trabajadoras de este emprendimiento. Este estudio se enmarca en una metodología de investigación cualitativa-interpretativa (Van Maanen, 1983), ya que, se analizaron desde la perspectiva de Análisis de Contenido y la investigación se desarrolló en cuatro fases metodológicas. La primera fase, fue de caracterizar el emprendimiento de SMC; la segunda fase, consistió en llevar a cabo un trabajo de campo y realizar entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres trabajadoras de la empresa; en la tercera fase, se realizó la transcripción y análisis del contenido por categorías. La cuarta y última fase, consistió en la interpretación de los hallazgos para dar cuenta de los aportes que SMC hace a sus trabajadoras.
This study identifies the contributions that Shakti Moda Consciente – SMC makes to sustainable development in the municipality of Jamundí - Valle del Cauca. It is based on the idea that it is a supportive enterprise with a great ecological sense that gains relevance and prominence in the new challenges of the world market and environmental protection. The theoretical framework that governs this research is located in the UNU conception of sustainable development, under the three pillars of sustainability: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. The data of this investigation are the documents alluding to and related to SMC and three interviews with the women workers of this enterprise. This study is framed in a qualitative-interpretive research methodology (Van Maanen, 1983), since it was analyzed from the perspective of Content Analysis and the research was developed in four methodological phases. The first phase was to characterize the SMC venture; The second phase consisted of carrying out field work and conducting semi-structured interviews with three company workers; In the third phase, the transcription and analysis of the content by categories was carried out. The fourth and final phase consisted of the interpretation of the findings to account for the contributions that SMC makes to its workers.
