Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar las pautas de crianza implementadas por los padres de familia del grado Jardín del Colegio Divino Salvador de Piedecuesta. Se aplicó una encuesta estructurada con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño descriptivo. El análisis se fundamentó en el modelo de estilos parentales de Baumrind y en referentes sobre crianza positiva. Los resultados permitieron caracterizar el perfil sociodemográfico de las familias y evidenciar la predominancia del estilo democrático, junto con prácticas afectivas y comunicativas sólidas. Se identificaron inconsistencias en la aplicación de normas y participación escolar. Se concluye que es necesario fortalecer estrategias formativas dirigidas a las familias para consolidar entornos de crianza respetuosa, coherente y emocionalmente segura.
This research aimed to identify the parenting styles implemented by the families of kindergarten students at Colegio Divino Salvador in Piedecuesta. A structured survey was applied using a quantitative, descriptive approach. The analysis was based on Baumrind’s parenting styles model and theoretical references on positive parenting. The results allowed for the characterization of the families’ sociodemographic profiles and revealed a predominance of the democratic parenting style, along with strong affective and communicative practices. However, inconsistencies were identified in the application of rules and school involvement. It is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen training strategies aimed at families to promote respectful, coherent, and emotionally secure parenting environments.
