Abstract
La presente investigación aborda la problemática de la interrupción de trayectorias educativas en jóvenes y adultos, los cuales han decidido retomar sus estudios accediendo a una oferta educativo basada en un modelo educativo flexible en la localidad de Engativá. A pesar de factores como la vulnerabilidad socioeconómica, la necesidad de trabajar, la falta de acceso a educación de calidad, problemas familiares y de salud, entre otros, conllevan a muchos estudiantes a abandonar sus estudios, generando fenómeno que afecta el desarrollo personal, social y laboral de los individuos, y representa un desafío para las instituciones educativas, que deben adaptar sus estrategias para fomentar la permanencia y culminación de los estudios. La presente investigación estableció como objetivo determinar las razones para que los jóvenes y adultos interrumpan sus trayectorias educativas, y accedan a un modelo educativo flexible en el Colegio Cooperativo Nocturno Minuto de Dios en la localidad de Engativá en el año 2024. Se realizó la investigación con un enfoque cualitativo, empleando entrevistas semiestructuradas a quince (15) estudiantes. Los hallazgos a partir del análisis de los testimonios permitieron establecer las razones que conllevan a la interrupción de las trayectorias educativas de los jóvenes y adultos y, posteriormente se identificaron las razones que conducen a retomar y culminar sus estudios, generando una percepción del problema de investigación y una visión global de la situación encontrada que dieron como respuesta que las condiciones económicas a lo largo de la vida de los jóvenes y adultos impulsan a interrumpir los estudios
The present research addresses the problem of the interruption of educational trajectories in young people and adults, who have decided to resume their studies by accessing an educational offer based on a flexible educational model in the town of Engativá. Despite institutional efforts to guarantee the right to education, factors such as socioeconomic vulnerability, the need to work, lack of access to quality education, family and health problems, among others, lead many students to abandon their studies, generating a phenomenon that affects the personal, social and work development of individuals, and represents a challenge for educational institutions, which must adapt their strategies to encourage permanence and completion of studies. The objective of this research was to determine the reasons why young people and adults interrupt their educational trajectories and access a flexible educational model at the Minuto de Dios Night Cooperative School in the town of Engativá in the year 2024. The research was carried out with a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews with fifteen (15) students.The findings from the analysis of the testimonies made it possible to establish the reasons that lead to the interruption of the educational trajectories of young people and adults and, subsequently, the reasons that lead to resuming and completing their studies were identified, generating a perception of the research problem and a global vision of the situation found that gave the answer that the economic conditions throughout the lives of young people and adults drive them to interrupt their studies
