Cierre de Brechas Entre La Formación Complementaria y las Demandas del Sector Agroindustrial en Urabá: Caso Instituto Técnico Unibán (ITU)

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo identificar las brechas de formación complementaria entre la oferta académica del Instituto Técnico Unibán (ITU) y las demandas del sector agroindustrial en la región de Urabá. A través de un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, se realizó un análisis de la oferta académica y las competencias demandadas por el sector, identificando diferencias clave que afectan la competitividad y el desarrollo regional. Se encuestó a actores educativos y empresariales, destacando la necesidad de mejorar la alineación entre la formación y las habilidades requeridas en áreas como innovación, tecnología y sostenibilidad. El estudio sugiere estrategias educativas que incluyen una mayor colaboración entre empresas y academia, formación continua y el desarrollo de programas especializados para cerrar las brechas identificadas.This study aims to identify the complementary training gaps between the academic offer of the Instituto Técnico Unibán (ITU) and the demands of the agro-industrial sector in the Urabá region. Through a qualitative and quantitative approach, an analysis of the academic offer and the skills demanded by the sector was conducted, identifying key discrepancies affecting the region's competitiveness and development. Educational and business actors were surveyed, highlighting the need to improve alignment between training and the skills required in areas such as innovation, technology, and sustainability. The study suggests educational strategies that include increased collaboration between companies and academia, continuous training, and the development of specialized programs to close the identified gaps.
