Abstract
El presente trabajo de sistematización describe la experiencia de práctica profesional de una
estudiante de administración de empresas en el Hotel Tocarema, enfocada en el área de almacén y
bodega, durante la cual se abordaron tareas esenciales como la gestión de inventarios, la recepción
de pedidos, la organización en la bodega y la realización de requisiciones. Este proceso se lleva a
cabo con el fin de analizar y compartir aprendizajes significativos que contribuyan al mejoramiento
de las operaciones y la calidad del servicio; para esto se utilizó la metodología propuesta por Oscar
Jara que plantea 5 pasos que abarcan desde la vivencia de la experiencia hasta la generación de
reflexiones con respecto a esta. Uno de los mayores desafíos fue la falta de un sistema eficiente de
gestión de inventarios, lo que requirió la implementación de soluciones manuales temporales, asi
como los problemas de comunicación entre departamentos, que fueron mitigados mediante la
mejora de los canales de comunicación y la clarificación de responsabilidades, pero además de
esto, se pudieron desarrollar habilidades en la gestión de recursos, la resolución de problemas y la
coordinación interdepartamental.
This systematization work describes the professional practice experience of a business administration student at the Tocarema Hotel, focused on the warehouse and warehouse area, during which essential tasks such as inventory management, order receipt, organization in the warehouse and conducting requisitions. This process is conducted to analyze and share significant learning that contributes to the improvement of operations and service quality; For this, the methodology proposed by Oscar Jara was used, which proposes five steps that range from living the experience to generating reflections regarding it. Realizar una sistematización de experiencias de la práctica profesional llevada a cabo en
el hotel Tocarema del municipio de Girardot, enfocada en el área de almacenamiento y
suministro, con el fin de analizar y compartir aprendizajes significativos que contribuyan al
mejoramiento de las operaciones y la calidad del servicio.
