La inteligencia emocional es presentada como un tema que deben tratar todas las instituciones educativas, brindar a los niños y niñas las herramientas necesarias para poder gestionar sus emociones es fundamental en el proceso educativo, la inteligencia emocional debe promoverse ya que las inquietudes emocionales pueden desequilibrar el entorno que los rodea y al no tener las herramientas necesarias para gestionarlas, no les permite manejarlas en el aula de clases; En la Institución Educativa José María Guiot sede la Esperanza, se evidencia que no se han dado alternativas en el aula para la solución de los problemas emocionales de los niños del grado preescolar, siendo la educación infantil una etapa fundamental en la cual niños y niñas desarrollan potencialidades tanto en la parte cognitiva cómo social y afectiva se hace necesario profundizar en un tema que para muchos educadores puede ser irrelevante. Por tal motivo se elaboró una estrategia pedagógica para el fortalecimiento de la inteligencia emocional de los niños y niñas del grado transición del colegio José Maria Guiot sede la esperanza donde se hicieron varias actividades y talleres que involucraron a los padres de familia para que asuman compromisos con el estado emocional de cada uno de sus hijos; se elaboró una cartilla digital acorde con las necesidades de los niños que ayude en sus procesos emocionales y académicos, generando un plan de trabajo con los docentes para atender las particularidades de estos niños garantizando el avance de ellos en el aula de clase; proponiendo estrategias que contribuyan al desarrollo emocional y cognitivo de cada uno de los niños utilizando instrumentos viables para el fortalecimiento de su inteligencia emocional y su aprendizaje significativo. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron la importancia del trabajo colaborativo que debe existir entre padres y maestros asumiendo un compromiso conjunto para lograr los objetivos propuestos en su entorno emocional. En conclusión, quien maneja sus emociones tiende a ser más eficaz en su vida, quien no logra dominar su contexto afectivo, sensible, perjudica su desarrollo laboral, social, familiar o cualquier entorno en el que no se sienta cómodo por no gestionar de manera asertiva sus emociones.

The results obtained demonstrated the importance of collaborative work that must exist between parents and teachers, assuming a joint commitment to achieve the proposed objectives in their emotional environment.
