| dc.description.abstract | Small-scale coffee farming in Colombia faces critical environmental sustainability challenges. This project, a qualitative case study of the "Café el Naranjo" enterprise (Enciso, Santander), applied project management tools to boost its sustainability. The research began by using the Rural Area Characterization Model to diagnose the agroecosystem, followed by the implementation of the Agile Scrum framework to structure and prioritize interventions. The results validated Scrum's effectiveness for planning in agricultural contexts. Strategies were formulated for waste management through composting and strengthening agrobiodiversity, based on the circular economy. It is concluded that agile management is an effective catalyst for empowering small-scale producers, enabling the transition towards a regenerative and competitive coffee farming model | |
