Abstract
El presente proyecto de investigación se desarrolló con el propósito de formular una propuesta de mejora para la gestión de inventarios en micronegocios, a partir del análisis de los principales modelos teóricos y de la incorporación de herramientas basadas en inteligencia artificial y visualización de datos mediante Power BI. Se planteó como objetivo general Desarrollar en primera fase la implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventarios apoyado en inteligencia artificial en micronegocios, con el fin de optimizar el control de insumos y productos, reducir pérdidas económicas y fortalecer su sostenibilidad y competitividad en el mercado orientado a reducir excesos de inventario y optimizar tiempos de reposición. Metodológicamente, se aplicó un enfoque descriptivo y documental, sustentado en la revisión de literatura y buenas prácticas tecnológicas. Se proyectó que el uso futuro de IA y Power BI permitirá predecir la demanda, reducir pérdidas y fortalecer la toma de decisiones. Se concluye que la combinación de estas herramientas constituye una alternativa factible y accesible para mejorar la eficiencia y sostenibilidad de los micronegocios.
This research project was developed with the purpose of formulating a proposal for improving inventory management in Colombian microbusinesses, based on the analysis of key theoretical models and the incorporation of tools based on artificial intelligence and data visualization using Power BI. The general objective was to develop, in the first phase, the implementation of an AI-supported inventory management system in Colombian microbusinesses, in order to optimize the control of supplies and products, reduce economic losses, and strengthen their sustainability and competitiveness in the market by reducing excess inventory and optimizing replenishment times. Methodologically, a descriptive and documentary approach was applied, based on a review of literature and technological best practices. It was projected that the future use of AI and Power BI will allow for demand prediction, loss reduction, and improved decision-making. It is concluded that the combination of these tools constitutes a feasible and accessible alternative for improving the efficiency and sustainability of Colombian microbusinesses.
