El presente proyecto presenta como objetivo principal el desarrollo de un estudio de
factibilidad para la creación de una firma de consultoría y asesoría para PYMES en la ciudad de
San José de Cúcuta, Norte de Santander. Ubicada en la frontera entre Colombia y Venezuela, la
cual dispone de un entorno económico único. Las pequeñas y medianas empresas en la zona
lidian con problemas en sectores fundamentales como la administración financiera, recursos
humanos y marketing, lo que las ubica como un público objetivo ideal para este tipo de servicios.
Este estudio de factibilidad abarca la identificación de la demanda de consultoría, el análisis
de la competencia local, y la evaluación de los recursos necesarios para establecer la firma.
Busca comprender si existe una oportunidad para crear una firma de consultoría rentable que
apoye a las PYMES en sus procesos de transformación, optimización y crecimiento. Para ello, se
realizaron entrevistas y encuestas a empresarios locales para identificar sus principales
necesidades y expectativas en cuanto a servicios de consultoría.
El análisis también incluirá un componente financiero, que analiza los costos operativos y el
precio de los servicios en relación con la disposición de las PYMES a invertir en consultoría.
Adicionalmente, se examinó la estructura económica y social de la ciudad, teniendo en cuenta
factores como la influencia del comercio binacional y las políticas públicas que impactan el
sector empresarial local. Con esta información, se logró determinar la viabilidad de este
emprendimiento.
El estudio concluye con una serie de recomendaciones estratégicas para el establecimiento de
la firma, incluyendo un plan de negocios con el modelo de prestación de servicios, las estrategias

de marketing, y la estructura financiera necesaria para garantizar la sostenibilidad y el
crecimiento a largo plazo de la firma de consultoría y asesoría.
The main objective of this project is to develop a feasibility study for the creation of a consulting and advisory firm for SMEs in the city of San José de Cúcuta, Norte de Santander. Located on the border between Colombia and Venezuela, the city offers a unique economic environment. Small and medium-sized enterprises in the area face challenges in key sectors such as financial management, human resources, and marketing, which makes them an ideal target audience for this type of service. This feasibility study includes the identification of consulting demand, an analysis of local competition, and the assessment of the resources needed to establish the firm. It aims to determine whether there is an opportunity to create a profitable consulting firm that supports SMEs in their processes of transformation, optimization, and growth. To this end, interviews and surveys were conducted with local entrepreneurs to identify their main needs and expectations regarding consulting services. The analysis also includes a financial component, which examines operating costs and service pricing in relation to SMEs’ willingness to invest in consulting. Additionally, the city’s economic and social structure was studied, taking into account factors such as the influence of cross-border trade and public policies that impact the local business sector. This information made it possible to determine the viability of this business initiative.
