Abstract
El documento titulado Incidencia de los aspectos académicos en el riesgo de deserción de los estudiantes del programa de Trabajo Social en UNIMINUTO, sede Bello es una monografía que analiza los factores que inciden en el abandono académico en este contexto específico. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa con entrevistas semiestructuradas, la investigación aborda la experiencia de estudiantes en riesgo de deserción, explorando factores económicos, académicos, personales, familiares y contextuales.
Entre los hallazgos, se destaca la influencia de la presión financiera, la falta de apoyo emocional y social, y la carga académica como principales causas de desmotivación. Además, factores como la procrastinación, la autoeficacia y el bienestar personal emergen como determinantes clave para la permanencia. La desconexión entre las expectativas iniciales y la realidad del programa también juega un rol crucial, lo que evidencia la necesidad de replantear enfoques curriculares y estrategias de acompañamiento.
