Accounts payable are of vital importance in all companies, especially for manufacturing companies that purchase raw materials and seek suppliers who grant them timeframes for the settlement of their invoices. This allows them to take advantage of the money initially set aside for those purchases by using it temporarily for other purposes, such as covering other financial obligations, investing in short- term returns, or handling unforeseen expenses. Neglecting the control of accounts payable can lead to serious implications, such as the suspension of supplies necessary for the proper functioning of the company's economic activities. Properly managing this information is crucial for generating accurate and reliable reports. These liabilities are highly important, as they represent opportunities that all clients want and should protect to avoid future issues, such as credit denials, negative references, and decreased liquidity.
