Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar los niveles de estrés laboral y el síndrome de burnout en trabajadores domésticos de Bogotá y Cali, se ha empleado un enfoque mixto con herramientas cuantitativas y cualitativas. Que a través del instrumento Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) donde se realiza un estudio descriptivo incluye una muestra de 16 trabajadoras domésticas. para medir la frecuencia e intensidad del síndrome de burnout en las trabajadoras domésticas. Por otro lado, el enfoque cualitativo donde se emplea una entrevista
Las entrevistas son estructuradas para explorar de manera más profunda los factores de riesgo asociados al estrés laboral y al síndrome de burnout, desde la perspectiva del participante, en el antecedente revela que las trabajadoras domésticas, en la gran parte son mujeres, quienes enfrentan condiciones laborales precarias marcadas por largas jornadas, bajos salarios y falta de garantías legales, a pesar de la ratificación del Convenio 189 de la OIT por parte de Colombia en 2014. Se siguen presentando falencias en el entorno laboral de las empleadas domésticas.
