In the present research work was sought to determine the relationship between a poorly executed telework and the stress that this can generate in workers. For this research was chosen a private company located in the city of Medellin, which as a result of the pandemic occurred in 2020, opted for the modality of teleworking. Even this modality of work continued in the post pandemic, which for some workers was a good option and for others not so much. Because this decision was taken unilaterally and many workers were not prepared for this new work methodology, this is a problem for the company. For this research a quantitative methodology was used, through the application of a survey conducted in Microsoft Forms. This allowed us to take a convenient sample and analyze the data obtained. Among the findings, it was identified that, although the private company located in the city of Medellin implemented teleworking to 100%, there are still shortcomings such as the lack of adequate equipment for the jobs. In addition, it was evidenced that some teleworkers have presented health problems, such as osteomuscular and psychosocial discomfort, after the implementation of teleworking. With the result it can be concluded in turn that, although teleworking has its advantages such as time management and savings in travel for the teleworker, it also has its disadvantages, which are not minor and should be kept in mind because in the long term will be reflected
