Abstract
rendimiento organizacional.
This research project focused on the evaluation of psychosocial risk factors at Ingeniería y Mecanizados de la Costa (IMC), a company in the metal-mechanic sector that, despite being in a growth phase, does not have a formal occupational health and safety management system. This situation exposes the organization to working conditions that may negatively impact the mental health and well-being of its employees. To carry out this analysis, the Battery of Instruments for the Evaluation of Psychosocial Risk Factors—designed by the Ministry of Social Protection in 2011 and adopted under Resolution 2646 of 2008 and Resolution 2764 of 2022—was applied. Through this tool, the main risk factors present in the organization were identified, their effects on employees’ mental health, performance, and well-being were interpreted, and intervention strategies for their prevention, mitigation, and control were formulated. The results obtained allowed for a comprehensive diagnosis of the psychosocial conditions of IMC’s workers, thus contributing to the design of actions aimed at improving their quality of work life, ensuring compliance with current regulations, and strengthening organizational performance.
