Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue explorar cómo los administradores pueden fomentar la creatividad y la sostenibilidad en las empresas colombianas. Se utilizó una metodología mixta que combinó métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos para obtener una visión integral del papel de los administradores en estos ámbitos. El diseño descriptivo permitió observar y documentar las estrategias empleadas para impulsar la creatividad y la sostenibilidad. Los resultados indican que un alto porcentaje de los encuestados (90.6%) considera la creatividad como esencial para el éxito empresarial, lo que subraya la importancia de un ambiente propicio para la innovación. Además, el 51.8% de los encuestados percibe un alto compromiso de sus empresas con la responsabilidad social, aunque también se identifican desafíos como los altos costos y la falta de apoyo gubernamental. Las conclusiones destacan que la integración de creatividad y sostenibilidad no solo es posible, sino también beneficiosa, mejorando la reputación corporativa y abriendo nuevas oportunidades de mercado. Se subraya la necesidad de un liderazgo comprometido y flexible que permita adaptar las estrategias organizacionales a las necesidades cambiantes del entorno empresarial.
The objective of this research was to explore how managers can promote creativity and sustainability in Colombian companies. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to provide a comprehensive view of the role of managers in these areas. The descriptive design allowed for the observation and documentation of strategies employed to foster creativity and sustainability. The results indicate that a high percentage of respondents (90.6%) consider creativity essential for business success, highlighting the importance of a conducive environment for innovation. Additionally, 51.8% of respondents perceive a strong commitment from their companies to social responsibility, although challenges such as high costs and lack of government support were also identified. The conclusions emphasize that the integration of creativity and sustainability is not only possible but also beneficial, improving corporate reputation and opening new market opportunities. The need for committed and flexible leadership is highlighted, allowing for the adaptation of organizational strategies to the changing needs of the business environment
