Abstract
Este proyecto de investigación, describe la importancia de desarrollar un proceso de evaluación de desempeño laboral en la empresa Uniminex. Especialmente para los operadores de maquinaria amarilla en la industria minera. Actualmente, la falta de este proceso afecta la capacidad de la empresa para valorar y mejorar el productividad de sus empleados, así como para proporcionar retroalimentación efectiva. La realización de un proceso de evaluación permitiría identificar áreas de mejora y diagnosticar factores que afectan el rendimiento laboral. Se destaca la importancia de diseñar este proceso ajustado a los cargos operativos, con métricas relevantes y adecuadas. Además, se presenta un análisis del contexto de la industria minera en Colombia y los objetivos específicos del proceso de evaluación propuesto. Además de definir las competencias laborales necesarias para los operadores de maquinaria amarilla y por último proponer un instrumento de evaluación de desempeño por competencias. Concluyendo con recomendaciones que permitan desarrollar de una manera efectiva este proceso de mejora en Uniminex S.A.S.
This research project describes the importance of implementing a job performance evaluation process in the Uniminex company. Especially for yellow machinery operators in the mining industry. Currently, the lack of this process affects the company's ability to measure and improve the performance of its employees, as well as to provide effective feedback. The implementation of an evaluation process would identify areas for improvement and diagnose factors that affect work performance. The importance of designing this process adjusted to the operational positions, with relevant and appropriate metrics, is highlighted. Additionally, an analysis of the context of the mining industry in Colombia and the specific objectives of the proposed evaluation process is presented. In addition to defining the necessary job competencies for yellow machinery operators, and finally, a competency-based performance evaluation instrument is proposed. Concluding with recommendations for the effective implementation of the competency-based performance evaluation process at Uniminex S.A.S.
