Abstract

First, a theoretical review is made at the international, national, departmental and local levels in order to know the different public policies and intervention programs currently in force, as well as the mental health problems present to date in the mentioned contexts. Subsequently, the legal references that govern each of the implemented proposals are presented, taking into account that a focus group was conducted with students from sixth to eleventh grade of the José Gregorio Salas Educational Institution, an interview with a manager, a teacher and the representative of the parents of the Institution. Finally, the results found are analyzed, a discussion is held and recommendations are made to improve the mental health of the members of the educational community
