Abstract
La investigación se centra en la problemática del acceso al agua potable en el municipio de Vigía del Fuerte, ubicado en la subregión de Urabá, en el departamento de Antioquia. La falta de acceso al agua ha limitado el desarrollo de las comunidades.
Ante esta situación, plantea la viabilidad de un sistema de recolección, almacenamiento, tratamiento y distribución del agua lluvia en el municipio. Argumentando que este sistema podría mejorar las condiciones de habitabilidad, aprovechar de manera sostenible el agua lluvia para el consumo humano y contribuir a la reducción de inundaciones. La investigación busca evaluar la factibilidad de implementar este sistema como una solución a la escasez de agua en el municipio de Vigía del Fuerte.
The research focuses on the problem of access to drinking water in the municipality of Vigía del Fuerte, located in the subregion of Urabá, in the department of Antioquia. The lack of access to water has limited the development of the communities. In view of this situation, the feasibility of a system for the collection, storage, treatment and distribution of rainwater in the municipality is proposed. It is argued that this system could improve habitability conditions, use rainwater sustainably for human consumption and contribute to the reduction of flooding. The research seeks to evaluate the feasibility of implementing this system as asolution to the water shortage in the municipality of Vigía del Fuerte.
