Abstract
Staff turnover is a problem in the poultry sector that affects its productivity due to hiring and learning costs. Tools were applied to establish the influence of psychosocial risk factors on turnover and to reduce it. The correlation between the results of the retirement survey and the application of the psychosocial risk battery, defined by the Ministry of Labor, established that there is not a perfect relationship between staff turnover and psychosocial risk factors. However, there are variables with a significant relationship with respect to turnover: the employment relationship with the boss and the distance from home to work, so it is necessary to intervene in these variables to reduce turnover.
