TRANSFORMACIONES EN EL BIENESTAR, LAS CAPACIDADES DE CUIDADO Y LA FAMILIA DE UNA PERSONA RESPONSABLE DEL CUIDADO DE UNA PERSONA ENFERMA

Abstract

El texto aborda la problemática entorno al cuidado de personas o familiares enfermos, en este se realiza el estudio apoyadas en seis cuidadoras ubicadas en los municipios de Medellín, Sabaneta e Itagüí en el año 2023, en este se plantean las consecuencias negativas que se asumen al momento de responsabilizarse del cuidado de un familiar enfermo, así mismo, se reconoce la necesidad del apoyo desde el estado y las familias para mejorar las condiciones de los cuidadores. Este trabajo pretende reconocer la importancia de la labor de los cuidadores y así contribuir a un mejor cuidado de la persona enferma; por otro lado, identificar el campo de acción desde el rol del trabajador social, en donde podría lograrse su intervención para aportar en el abordaje de esta problemática.

The text addresses the problems surrounding the care of sick people or family members, in this the study is carried out supported by six caregivers located in the municipalities of Medellín, Sabaneta and Itagüí in the year 2023, in this the negative consequences assumed by the moment of taking responsibility for the care of a sick family member, likewise, the need for support from the state and families to improve the conditions of caregivers is recognized. This work aims to recognize the importance of the work of caregivers and thus contribute to better care of the sick person; On the other hand, identify the field of action from the role of the social worker, where his intervention could be achieved to contribute to addressing this problem.
