Abstract
Reflexionar sobre la importancia de la humanización de los servicios de salud y su pertinencia en
Colombia ya sea desde un primer nivel de atención hasta los más altos grados, apunta la atención de
este trabajo sobre la experiencia vista desde el trabajo social, en el enfoque profesional humanístico,
puede resultar en una forma más significativa y enriquecedora. La humanización de la prestación de los
servicios de salud requiere de un proceso de atención centrado en el ser humano, el cuidar del otro
pierde su sentido si no hay un interés real en la persona o si el contexto en donde se aplican los
cuidados es adverso o altamente tecnificado puesto que el contacto humano se ve limitado. La
formación del personal prestador del servicio de salud debe privilegiar la comunicación cálida y asertiva
antes que el desempeño del rol técnico, de esta medida depende el entendimiento de las demás
necesidades del paciente como ser humano en todos sus aspectos, posterior a los años 2020 y 2021 que
genero un aumento en la angustia de usuarios y familiares, se describe como un tema relativamente
nuevo en Latinoamérica pero que ha ganado auge e interés de desarrollo en las ciencias sociales y
humanas.
Reflecting on the importance of the humanization of health services and their relevance in Colombia either from a first level of care to the highest degrees, points the attention of this work of the experience seen from social work, in the humanistic professional approach, can result in a more meaningful and enriching way. The humanization of the provision of health services requires a process of attention focused on the human being, taking care of the other loses its meaning if there is no real interest in the person or if the context in which the care is applied is adverse or highly technified since human contact is limited. The training of health service personnel must privilege warm and assertive communication rather than the performance of the technical role, on this measure depends the understanding of the other needs of the patient as a human being in all its aspects, after the years 2020 and 2021 that generated an increase in the anguish of users and family, is described as a relatively new topic in Latin America but that has gained boom and development interest in the social and human sciences.
