Abstract
During the Covid-19 pandemic, people around the world faced rapid changes of adaptation, among which for this research work we focus on the work environment; as people coped abruptly with the fact that their homes had become their workplace, which although it was a measure to prevent mass job losses, brought with it consequences for workers' health such as work overload. stress, emotional confusion and changes in family dynamics. (Jiménez & Ramírez, 2021) Therefore, this paper aims to establish the relationship between work stress and telework during the Covid-19 Pandemic during the years 2020-2021 in the administrative area of a production company in Medellín. For this purpose, the focus of this research project is an exploratory case study by means of a survey with which it is intended to obtain the results that allow the interpretation and conclusion of the factors of this relationship. Finally, as a result of the research carried out under the proposed methodology, it was possible to show that there is a relationship between working at home or teleworking with work stress due to the fact that the current working conditions have changed and that this creates a great difficulty for the working population, since disconnecting from their work has sometimes made it difficult for them to have family relationships for the short time. has been so affected to the point of facing problems on a psychological and/or emotional level, which has increased the probability of depression, stress and lack of communication, not being in an environment of socialization at work and conversations are limited only to work aspects being this factor triggering feelings of demotivation , it is clear that the emotional ties needed in a job are not strengthened, as it happens in extroverts, although introverts may even develop some dependence and obsession with work and for some individuals health problems, fatigue, constant headaches that limit their functions and performance
