This project was based on experiences and experiences carried out at the Fundación Niños del Sol, in the Casa Hogar modality, where it was possible to investigate child-to-parent violence in adolescents in an age range of 9 to 18 years; taking as a starting point that the study of this problem is not very evident in said social protection systems. That is why the need arises to investigate through the following problem question: Why does child-to-parent violence in adolescents occur? Now, child-to-parent violence is understood as the physical, psychological or verbal aggression that children can exert on their parents, in this sense, it is denoted as a common denominator that parents may feel fear when denouncing or exposing the violence. who live on behalf of their children since this phenomenon brings with it some legal implications framed in the violation of rights around the family. According to the state of the art carried out for this research, it can be identified that generally the rate of abusive children are men and they are usually the minor children, this happens when good parenting guidelines are not generated, generally the young people who violate their parents are those who present poor school performance, learning difficulties, adaptation difficulties and rejection at school; which can lead young people to be aggressive with one of their parental figures. This research project on child-to-parent violence has essential characteristics from the IAP (Participation Action Research) methodology, since this methodological proposal allows the generation of a research strategy that seeks precisely to help adolescents who are in a condition of restitution of rights. for child-to-parent violence through the search to develop their capacities and thus identify their problems, their opportunities and the possible solutions around the transformation of their reality as a minor offender; Thus, the IAP methodology, characterized by a set of technical procedures, contributes to acquire knowledge that is useful for this 15 problem, generating in the investigated population that they go from being an object of study to being protagonists and transforming subjects of the entire process. . As the purpose of the IAP, is to change reality and face the problems of a population, starting from the diagnosis, planning and observation, the following techniques are taken into account for the collection of information; Likert-type survey which was applied to adolescents and parents and/or caregivers, field diary where different problems of adolescents involved in childto-parent violence can be evidenced, focus group which is based on carrying out activities with adolescents, parents and/or caregivers to be protagonists of possible alternative solutions to child-to-parent violence. Among the most significant results, it can be evidenced that parenting styles have a high influence on child-to-parent behavior, likewise, it was found that family typologies influence the interpretation of social practices, in the way of facing problems. problems and the few resources that adolescents have to deal with situations before authority figures.
