Abstract
This research was carried out in the municipality of Otanche (Boyacá), seeking to identify and make visible the process of insertion, resilience and job adaptation of a group of victims of forced displacement who reside there. To this end, issues such as forced displacement, resilience and job adaptation were addressed from a qualitative approach, through semistructured interviews, trying to identify from their narratives the process of adaptation and search for economic solvency in the place of settlement. In this way, it was evidenced that the population victim of the armed conflict presents difficulties in their labor insertion process, due to the lack of opportunities that exist in the municipality, for which they see the need to work informally or opt for underemployment, in this case guaqueo. In addition, it was evidenced that resilience and family union have an important role in the reconstruction of their life projects. Finally, the abrupt change that people had to go through in their work activities compared to what they did before the displacement was identified. It is recommended for future research to extend the documentary review, so that more topics of interest can be addressed and expand the number of participants in the research, taking into account people from the Orinoquía region, also involving members of the family nucleus to give achieve goals more effectively.
