Abstract
El trabajo presentado a continuación, es una investigación de carácter
cualitativo, este busca construir parte de la historia del power metal colombiano, a
través de las interpretaciones personales y construcciones identitarias de algunas
bandas nacionales, para llegar a esto se define la “historia” e “identidad”, contada
desde la construcción social, en este caso con las agrupaciones que son las
encargadas de contar la historia, además la “identidad” es vista desde el patchwork; sin
embargo, todo esto no sería posible sin antes hacer un análisis de algunos documentos
que tratan de definir el concepto de identidad, de identidad metalera y del power metal.
