Abstract
Esta investigación busca analizar la relación que tienen las personas con la comida, entendiendo el acto de la comida como un ritual cotidiano que puede reunir infinidad de elementos comunicativos, culturales y sociales. Algunos de los factores que influyen en el ritual de la comida son: la identidad, las costumbres, la cercanía, la rapidez, la familiaridad con el lugar y sus trabajadores, entre otros. Las relaciones sociales y culturales que se crean en el acto de comer, generan un vínculo entre las personas y los lugares o tipos de comida que hay en el sector. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se analizarán los restaurantes Cachafaz, Mr. Dewa y Vagabundog’s en el barrio Pontevedra en la ciudad de Bogotá.
This investigation looks to analyze the relationship between people and food, seeing the act of eating as an everyday ritual that gathers a slew of communicative, cultural and social elements. Some of the factors that influence in said ritual are: identity, customs, closeness, swiftness, familiarity with the location and it's workers, among others. Social and cultural relations that are built upon the act of eating, create a bond between the people and the places or the kind of food that is present in the area. To carry out this investigation, the restaurants Cachafaz, Mr. Dewa and Vagabundog’s of Pontevedra in Bogotá City will be analyzed.
