Abstract
El proyecto busca establecer la factibilidad para la remodelación y adecuación del
Parque Minero del Municipio de Ataco, Tolima, tiene como objetivo principal recuperar la
identidad cultural de los habitantes del municipio y mejorar la calidad de vida de los mismos, a
través de un espacio que contribuya al goce y disfrute del deporte, la recreación y esparcimiento
libre de la población; se plantea la recuperación y optimización de las zonas duras y verdes de
este escenario, siendo uno de los espacios de identidad cultural y social de los Atacunos, al
representar uno de los sectores más importantes de su economía, “La Minería”.
Se basa en la Metodología General Ajustada (MGA), permitiendo un proceso de
identificación, preparación, evaluación y programación de los proyectos de inversión,
abordando una ruta coherente al objetivo que contempla: supervisión técnica, planificación,
organización, dirección, control y gestión financiera, que puede ser una buena solución a corto
plazo con el fin de traer beneficios a sus habitantes. “El espacio público es el conjunto de
inmuebles públicos y los elementos arquitectónicos y naturales de los inmuebles privados
destinados por naturaleza, usos o afectación a la satisfacción de necesidades urbanas colectivas
que transcienden los límites de los intereses individuales de los habitantes” (Decreto 1504,
1998, art. 2). Se busca fortalecer los espacios para que la comunidad en general pueda llevar a
cabo actividades lúdicas, deportivas y ocupación del tiempo libre encaminado a la recuperación
y fortalecimiento de la identidad del lugar. La metodología y razón de ser del proyecto, no sólo
atiende a la recuperación del espacio público, también busca conocer las necesidad y
aspiraciones de los habitantes del sector, a partir de observar y escuchar sus habitantes, para
que éstos cuenten con zonas confortables alusivas a la cultura y su economía.

"Public space is the set of public buildings and the architectural and natural elements of private properties intended by nature, uses or affecting the satisfaction of collective urban needs that transcend the limits of the individual interests of the inhabitants" (Decree 1504, 1998, art. 2). It seeks to strengthen the spaces so that the community in general can carry out recreational, sports and leisure activities aimed at the recovery and strengthening of the identity of the place. The methodology and raison d'eer of the project, not only attends to the recovery of public space, it also seeks to know the needs and aspirations of the inhabitants of the sector, from obser ving and comfortable areas allusive to culture and listening to its inhabita its economy.
