Abstract
Social movements become an object of study for professionals as collective action is a mechanism of subordinate organization that is built to question the social, economic, cultural structures of a system of domination and make visible the demands, claims and interests of various actors in the face of conditions of submission, exclusion and inequality, from a social and critical perspective it is essential from these academic scenarios to continue conducting these inquiries from the framework of feminism as a new social movement that has a claiming political discourse and practice that has been developed in different moments and historical periods provides contributions to Social Work from which it is possible to rescue theories. An example of this is the global trends in the growth of groups, organizations and movements, not only in Latin America but throughout the world. The empowerment of groups, movements and organizations, generates from social work an academic field of reflections framed from gender equality and the empowerment of movements, with structural factors. Movements and social groups need many people in order to be heard, the more people they have, the more they are heard and the further the message will go, likewise the movements are empowered on the issue of feminism in social work.
