Abstract

With a quantitative approach, it was possible to measure different variables through the Litwin and Stringer questionnaire, structured by 9 dimensions that include 53 items with closed questions, which was validated under the Likert scale and tabulated through the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software. Crosssectional, since data were collected in a single moment, of a non-experimental type, observing events as they occur in their natural context, and explanatory because, through the proposed dimensions, the factors that negatively influence the work environment, affecting the performance of the Clinic's healthcare group. Said questionnaire was applied to 18 employees of the assistance area, who have extensive working hours with 24-hour availability located in the emergency and radiology areas, taking 100% as a sample for convenience. Faced with the results of the investigation, they show that of the 9 dimensions of the climate among them, Structure, Responsibility, Risk - Challenges, Cooperation and Performance Standards are perceived positively by employees, while the dimensions, Reward, Support - Relationships, Conflict and Identity have been viewed negatively by staff. Based on the results, an intervention proposal is presented aimed at improving the perception of employees about the dimensions of the climate that require attention. Because the organizational climate is a variable that is considered important for a suitable general environment and correct work performance
