Abstract
La psicología en la organización debe ser un tema trascendental y transversal para los procesos que se deseen adelantar en cualquier sector económico, ya que es necesario mantener una cultura organizacional sana que le permita crecer y lograr cumplir los objetivos y proyectos que se proponen. Una de las variables que aportan a generar costumbres positivas en las organizaciones es el engagement y para gestionarlo como primer paso es necesario conocer todo lo que comprende el término, revisar sus inicios, autores y reconocer los lazos que a este le competen para así lograr interiorizarlo de manera particular y sea un aporte positivo a la cultura organizacional. Cabe resaltar que el término aún es nuevo en el mundo laboral y puede llegar a generar confusiones a las áreas de recursos humanos encargadas de ejecutar acciones de esta índole, también es probable que se estén realizando acciones que no vayan encaminadas a lo que realmente propone el concepto en sí afectando la cultura organizacional. Por medio de una revisión bibliográfica, se dará claridad sobre los términos que actúan alrededor de la propuesta, aportando a la noción del fomento del engagement como elemento fortalecedor de la cultura organizacional.
Psychology in the organization must be a transcendental and transversal issue for the processes that are desired to be carrie d out in any economic sector, because it is important to maintain a healthy organizational culture that allows it to grow and achieve the objectives and projects that are proposed. One of the variables that contribute to generating positive customs in organizations is engagement, and to manage it as a first step it is necessary to know everything that the term comprises, review its beginnings, authors and recognize the ties that are the responsibility to internalize it in a particular way and be a positive contributor to organizational culture. Beside the term is still new in the world of work and can lead to confusion in the human resources areas, it is also likely that actions are being taken that are not aimed at what actually proposes the concept itself, affecting organizational culture. Through a bibliographic review, clarity will be given on the terms that act around the proposal, contributing to the notion of promoting engagement as a strengthening element of the organizational culture
