Abstract
Este proyecto investiga cómo perciben el estrés y el síndrome de burnout los trabajadores domésticos en Facatativá, Jericó y Quibdó, municipios de Colombia; la investigación utilizó un enfoque metodológico mixto, no experimental y de corte transversal, integrando técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas para una evaluación completa. Se aplicaron cuestionarios estandarizados, como el Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) y otras escalas de estrés, además de realizar entrevistas semiestructuradas, esta última se manejó un consentimiento informado, con el fin de analizar la percepción y los niveles de estrés y el síndrome de Burnout en trabajadores domésticos, de los municipios de Facatativá, Jericó y Quibdó, la muestra incluyó a 18 trabajadores domésticos, de ambos sexos y edades entre 18 y 74 años, tanto en modalidades de trabajo formal como informal; al unificar las encuestas y analizar se identificó que en los municipios se puede apreciar que los niveles de estrés y síndrome de burnout son diferentes, pues en Facatativá los factores mencionados se encuentran en niveles medios, mientras que en Jericó y Quibdó se observa que hay más niveles de medio a alto de estrés y síndrome de burnout más en Quibdó, estos factores lo hemos asociado a que en los municipios estudiados no tiene la misma igualdad de condiciones como estudio, calidad de vida, facilidad de conseguir empleo estable, acceso a las prestaciones sociales como salud, pensión, educación.
