Abstract
La comunidad afrocolombiana presenta altos índices de discriminación, asociando a
factores socio culturales, prácticas religiosas y antecedentes históricos, los cuales
han demarcado un alto grado de desigualdad en las condiciones laborales para las
mujeres afro. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los
factores de empleabilidad de las mujeres afro en las 13 áreas metropolitanas de
Colombia que brinde elementos de fortalecimiento a la estrategia de inclusión
laboral de la Asociación ASNEA. Para abordar el objetivo se realizó un análisis
descriptivo de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) aplicada el mes de
noviembre de 2020. En el análisis se identificó que el 14,48% de las mujeres
afrodescendientes presentan estudios universitarios superiores en comparación al
12,21% % de los hombres de su misma raza, sin embargo, presentan menores
índices de empleabilidad.
The Afro-Colombian community presents high levels of discrimination, associated with socio-cultural factors, religious practices and historical antecedents, which have demarcated a high degree of inequality in working conditions for Afro women.
