En el articulo se analizan las Implicaciones que tienen los medios de comunicación y las nuevas tecnologías dela Informacióny la comunicación en el campo de la educación y, particularmente, para la didáctica medial, cuando se incorporan a los procesos que orienta y desarrolla la escuela. Se aborda la reflexión en torno a la formación y competencias que deben tener los maestros y los estudiantes que van a la escuela actual, siglo XXI, así como las relaciones que se establecen entre el currículo y la didáctica; finalmente, se desarrollan algunos planteamientos Interconectados con el papel que en la presente Sociedad y específicamente en la escuela debe asumir la didáctica de los medios.
This article is aimed at analyzing the effects that communication methods, new information technology and communication have on the field of education and particularly didactic methods when combined with processes of orientation and school development and competencies that teachers as well as students attending school in the 21 st Century must have today. The paper also takes a look at the relationships that is established between curriculum and didactic. Finally, the paper explains some approaches related to the role that the medial didactics must assume in the present society and more specifically in school.
