Abstract
The frequency with which positive emotions appear in older people tends to predominate compared to negative ones. The quality of life of the elderly is subject to social and family relationships and their state of health. The present study aims to interpret the emotional states and feelings of older adults in the municipality of Bello - Antioquia, within the framework of SARSCoV-2 (Coronavirus-COVID19), based on a case study. This has been carried out through the application of an interview and well-being scale in a sample of 24 elderly people belonging to the Elderly groups. The results showed affectation in the emotional state and feelings in human beings, and for this case in Bellanitas Older Adults where it is presented in a more marked way in their coping strategies and in allowing them to quantify their emotional and social losses. Specifically, the items that describe the emotions expressed and that obtained the highest score were: "I totally change my life", "I can't move around", "changes in sleep", "I change my habits", "I'm more alone", and " my future is uncertain ”. On the other hand, in the elderly, the dimensions of health, family, friends, money and tranquility were evidenced in order of affectation.
