Abstract
La presente monografía expone una propuesta de investigación orientada al análisis de las estrategias pedagógicas empleadas por los docentes de Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana en la atención a estudiantes con discapacidad visual. El objetivo general consiste en identificar y describir dichas estrategias, evaluando sus alcances y oportunidades de mejora.
Para ello, se plantea un estudio de enfoque cualitativo con un diseño descriptivo, que permitirá realizar un análisis exhaustivo de las instituciones educativas públicas y privadas de Bucaramanga que incorporan la inclusión educativa en su currículo. Asimismo, se busca determinar las principales estrategias implementadas por los docentes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje cuando cuentan en su aula con estudiantes que presentan discapacidad visual.
Este estudio nace desde la carencia observada en la implementación de estrategias en algunas aulas de instituciones educativas en las cuales se encuentran niños y niñas con discapacidad visual, quienes no cuentan con los materiales adecuados para una verdadera inclusión educativa ni para el correcto desarrollo de sus habilidades, esta situación evidencia la importancia de reconocer las necesidades específicas de esta población, así como la urgencia de diseñar y aplicar estrategias y recursos reales que favorezcan su participación activa en el proceso de aprendizaje.
This monograph presents a research proposal aimed at analyzing the pedagogical strategies used by teachers in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area to serve students with visual impairments. The overall objective is to identify and describe these strategies, assessing their scope and opportunities for improvement. To this end, a qualitative study with a descriptive design is proposed, which will allow for a comprehensive analysis of public and private educational institutions in Bucaramanga that incorporate inclusive education into their curricula. It also seeks to determine the main strategies implemented by teachers in the teaching-learning process when they have students with visual impairments in their classrooms. This study stems from the observed lack of implementation of strategies in some classrooms of educational institutions where children with visual impairments are present. These children lack the appropriate materials for true educational inclusion and the proper development of their skills. This situation highlights the importance of recognizing the specific needs of this population, as well as the urgency of designing and implementing real strategies and resources that promote their active participation in the learning process.
