Abstract
En este reportaje narrativo se investiga la trascendencia que tiene la migración en el municipio de Donmatías (Antioquia) y comó esta práctica interviene en la facultad cultural, en el estilo de vida de sus habitantes, sus costumbres y sus relaciones interpersonales. Este trabajo investigativo tiene como propósito conocer el cambio de la cultura y su dinámica desde la experiencia propia de los migrantes, es decir, como la idea de migrar al exterior ha afectado su entorno y la manera de relacionarse con él, ya sea desde su realidad migratoria o desde la expectativa que tiene sobre la migración. Se presentan tres objetivos investigativos en los cuales participaron (20) veinte donmatieños, quienes están divididos en (15)quince habitantes que nunca han viajado a Estados Unidos y (5) cinco que sí lo han hecho. Se utilizaron como instrumentos la entrevista, la encuesta y la crónica. Cuatro entrevistas, quince encuestas y una crónica. Los resultados evidencian que el 100% de los participantes quieren viajar o ya viajaron a Estados Unidos y que las motivaciones, aunque no son las mismas, el hecho de nacer y crecer en Donmatías sí influyó en tomar la decisión.
This narrative report investigates the importance of migration in the municipality of Donmatías (Antioquia) and how this practice intervenes in the cultural faculty, in the lifestyle of its population, their customs and their interpersonal relationships. The purpose of this research is to know the change in culture and its dynamics from the experience of migrants themselves, that is, how the idea of migrating abroad has affected their environment and the way of relating to it, either from their migratory reality or from the expectation you have about migration. Three investigative objectives are presented in which 20 donmatieños participated, who are divided into 15 inhabitants who have never traveled to the United States and 5 who have. The interview, the survey and the chronicle were used as instruments. Four interviews, fifteen surveys and a chronicle. The results show that 100% of the participants want to travel or have already traveled to the United States and that the motivations, although not the same, the fact of being born and growing up in Donmatías did influence making the decision.
