Abstract
Esta monografía explora el fenómeno del acoso laboral, entendido como el acoso psicológico sistemático y recurrente en el lugar de trabajo; el cual se centra en la identificación de las causas, consecuencias y posibles estrategias para su prevención dentro de las empresas públicas a partir de un análisis bibliométrico sobre el tema, abarcando publicaciones entre 2014 y 2024, recopiladas en la base de datos Scopus.
La revisión de la literatura revela un incremento en el interés por el estudio del acoso laboral en el contexto de las instituciones públicas, donde la falta de equidad y solidaridad de los ambientes altamente competitivos, así como las estructuras organizacionales burocráticas, autoritarias, jerárquicas y rígidas a menudo facilitan estas conductas según el estudio realizado por (Gómez-Rubio, 2016).
Este análisis también ha revelado la existencia de factores culturales y estructurales que perpetúan el acoso laboral en el sector público, así como la falta de mecanismos efectivos de denuncia y protección para las víctimas. Se ha destacado la importancia de implementar políticas organizacionales que promuevan ambientes laborales saludables y respetuosos, a fin de mitigar los efectos negativos del acoso laboral.
Es por esto, que la presente revisión tiene como finalidad analizar este fenómeno desde una perspectiva cualitativa, la cual nos brinda la posibilidad de conocer fuentes e investigaciones sobre el acoso laboral, identificando los factores que contribuyen a su prevalencia en el sector público, describiendo de la misma manera los efectos en las victimas y brindando posibles estrategias de prevención.
This monograph explores the phenomenon of workplace mobbing, understood as systematic and recurrent psychological harassment in the workplace; which focuses on the identification of the causes, consequences and possible strategies for its prevention within public companies based on a bibliometric analysis on the topic, covering publications between 2014 and 2024, compiled from the Google Scholar database. The review of the literature reveals an increase in interest in the study of mobbing in the context of public institutions, where the lack of equity and solidarity of highly competitive environments, as well as bureaucratic, authoritarian, hierarchical and rigid organizational structures, they often facilitate these behaviors according to the study carried out by (GómezRubio, 2016). This analysis has also revealed the existence of cultural and structural factors that perpetuate workplace harassment in the public sector, as well as the lack of effective reporting and protection mechanisms for victims. The importance of implementing organizational policies that promote healthy and respectful work environments has been highlighted, in order to mitigate the negative effects of mobbing. It is for this reason that the purpose of this review is to analyze this phenomenon from a qualitative perspective, which gives us the possibility of knowing sources and research on workplace mobbing, identifying the factors that contribute to its prevalence in this public sector, describing in the same way the effects on the victims and providing possible prevention strategies.
