Abstract
Las cifras sobre desnutrición a nivel mundial, han ido en aumento, y con ello las
investigaciones acerca de las causas y consecuencias, pero pocos se centran en los efectos
considerables que esta puede tener en la salud psicológica de los seres humanos, particularmente
en los niños en etapa de desarrollo tanto físico como cognitivo. Surgiendo así la necesidad de
elegir una población donde se pueda evidenciar o refutar la existencia de efectos negativos de la
malnutrición en niños y niñas, siendo elegido para tal fin el Jardín Infantil Mágico despertar de la
ciudad de Tuluá donde se escoge una población de 12 niños entre 2 y 5 años de edad. Se diseña
cualitativamente un estudio pormenorizado del lugar, los niños y niñas, sus familias y el entorno
donde se desenvuelven, siguiendo las etapas correspondientes que constan de la caracterización,
y reconocimiento, personas involucradas, para posteriormente recolectar la información y
finalizar con el análisis y la interpretación de la información recopilada a través de la
observación y las entrevistas semiestructuradas para tal fin.
The figures on malnutrition worldwide are increasing, and with it the research on the causes and consequences of the issue, but few focusses on the considerable effects that this can have on the psychological health of human beings, more specifically in children who go through the stage of physical and cognitive development. Due to this, the need arises to choose a population in which the existence of negative effects of malnutrition in boys and girls can be evidenced or refuted, being chosen for this purpose the Magic Kindergarten Awakening of the city of Tuluá. Therefore, a detailed study of the place, the children, their families and the environment in which they develop is designed, following the corresponding stages that consist of the characterization, and recognition, of the people involved, and then collect the information and finalize with the analysis and interpretation of the information collected through observation and semi-structured surveys for this purpose.
