Abstract
During the professional practice program for the Occupational Health and Safety Administration program at UNIMINUTO, a university center in Girardot, conducted during the 2025-40 period at Terminal de Transportes de Melgar S.A., located in the municipality of Melgar, Tolima, a problem related to the consumption of alcohol and psychoactive substances by some drivers and workers was identified. This situation directly affects the physical and mental health of employees, compromises road safety, and deteriorates the organizational climate. The purpose of this systematization is to design and implement a prevention program with preventive strategies aimed at raising awareness among the working population, fostering healthy habits, and raising awareness of the risks associated with the consumption of these substances in the workplace. The program seeks to promote self-care, comprehensive well-being, and individual and collective responsibility. The methodology applied in this systematization is based on the model proposed by Óscar Jara Holliday, which proposes five phases that allow for the recovery, analysis, and critical interpretation of the experience. The first phase of systematization consists of identifying the problematic situation, followed by data collection through a survey and direct observation to understand workers' perceptions of alcohol and psychoactive substance use. The data is then analyzed, identifying needs, risk factors, and opportunities for intervention. Finally, the final phase generates results that improve the organization's health and safety culture.
