This research, called "Business practices towards sustainability in agricultural producers in Vergara, Cundinamarca", seeks to examine the sustainable business practices of agricultural producers, recognizing elements that promote or impede their implementation, and assessing their effect on economic, environmental and social sustainability. A mixed methodology (qualitative and quantitative) was used to collect information through pilot surveys and reports delivered to 20 producers chosen through non-probabilistic sampling. The tools facilitated the collection of data about sustainable practices, sales channels and obstacles seen. The data were processed through the Jamovi program to perform descriptive and correlative analysis. The most common sustainable practices were the use of organic fertilizers (45%) and the preservation of water sources (20%). The most experienced producers (11-20 years) prefer regional markets, while the newest ones choose direct sales. However, 65% of survey participants expressed dissatisfaction with the income achieved, which highlights economic challenges. In addition, intermediaries continue to play a significant role in determining prices. Despite the implementation of sustainable measures that increase environmental quality, economic challenges remain that jeopardize global sustainability. The need for intermediaries restricts the competitiveness of producers, while the limited use of technology and e-commerce limits market opportunities
