This research seeks to identify work stress and burnout syndrome in 12 domestic workers in Colombia, located in the cities of Bogotá, Buenaventura and Itagüí, taking into account that, for years, it has been an undervalued job, where physical and mental exhaustion is evidenced in the personnel who perform this work. To collect the information, we rely on the qualitative, cross sectional, descriptive approach methodology through the creation of interview questions using the Maslach and Karasek models where we identify the negative effects and consequences of exposure to factors related to stress and burnout syndrome.
