Communication has the advantage that can join a process and transform it, in this research: “community radio as a process of historical memory from the construction of a radio series in the municipality of El Santuario Antioquia” it seeks to understand how community radio, as media can contribute to the processes of exchange, socialization and interaction of victims who suffered due to the denomited period of "Violence" and understand the existence of a dynamic communication entity that facilitates the population relate their stories, as a process of reconstruction of historical memory that allows identifying factors that emphasize forgiveness and collective building. Understanding that every suffering, every pain and every story told are key pieces for empowerment and resilience within a territory. The Antioquia East is the key axis of this research project specifically the municipality of El Santuario, since it is a place that after suffering with the armed conflict, the victims were part of spaces that allowed them and their population to be cooperators of change and continue with their lives beyond the marks left by the war. It is important to highlight that there is a certain difference between the problems suffered by the inhabitants of rural areas and those of urban areas, since in this period of confrontations people belonging to the countryside were more affected, due to the fact that they were further away and more unprotected armed groups were accentuated in those places, generating greater imbalance and fear in the population.
