Abstract
This research project aims to analyze the relationship between artistic proposals and inclusive education processes in a rural context, specifically at the Josefina Gómez de García branch of the Presbítero Libardo Aguirre Delgado Educational Institution, located in Concepción, Antioquia. Primary school students face challenges in acquiring skills and competencies due to a lack of resources, insufficient teacher training, and the misalignment of the Escuela Nueva educational model, which does not fully adapt to rural realities. Although the educational model intends to be inclusive, it does not effectively address the specificities of the rural environment, impacting children's academic and personal development. This study proposes integrating artistic strategies into the curriculum, such as music, visual arts, dance, and theater. It highlights that arts education not only enhances cognitive competencies but also positively influences students' emotional, social, and cultural development. Through art, children in rural contexts can connect with their surroundings, valuing their culture and community. The project seeks to create an accessible and practical intervention model, leveraging the limited resources available in rural areas to provide an inclusive and enriching education. This approach aims not only to support academic learning but also to foster the personal development of students.
