Abstract
El objetivo de la presente monografía es analizar la configuración de las prácticas de cuidado entre mujeres del club de tejido que participan activamente en procesos de desarrollo comunitario en el barrio 13 de Noviembre de la ciudad de Medellín, estas mujeres participan de manera activa en procesos de desarrollo comunitario, y a través de sus actividades en el club de tejido, crean redes de apoyo y solidaridad que fortalecen tanto su bienestar individual como el colectivo. La investigación busca comprender la configuración de las prácticas de cuidado entre mujeres el enfoque cualitativo realizado en el barrio 13 de Noviembre de la ciudad de Medellín con 20 mujeres que forman parte del Club de tejido. Se obtuvo como resultado que, las mujeres practican el cuidado emocional a través del acompañamiento en momentos difíciles; también se evidencia en el intercambio de palabras de aliento y empatía, uno de los hallazgos más importantes ha sido el papel fundamental que tienen las redes de apoyo. Las participantes valoran los lazos de solidaridad y la confianza que han construido, que les permite encontrar un espacio de apoyo emocional y mutua colaboración en sus actividades diarias y en momentos difíciles, las participantes han resaltado la importancia de cuidar su salud mental y física.
The objective of this monograph is to analyze the configuration of care practices among women in the weaving club who actively participate in community development processes in the 13 de Noviembre neighborhood in the city of Medellín. These women actively participate in community development processes, and through their activities in the weaving club, they create support and solidarity networks that strengthen both their individual and collective well-being. The research seeks to understand the configuration of care practices among women through a qualitative approach carried out in the 13 de Noviembre neighborhood in the city of Medellín with 20 women who are part of the Weaving Club. It was obtained as a result that women practice emotional care through accompaniment in difficult moments; it is also evident in the exchange of words of encouragement and empathy, one of the most important findings has been the fundamental role of support networks. The participants value the bonds of solidarity and trust they have built, which allows them to find a space for emotional support and mutual collaboration in their daily activities and in difficult moments, the participants have highlighted the importance of taking care of their mental and physical health. They have shared daily practices related to self-care, such as going for walks either alone or accompanied, healthy eating tips, and the relevance of being attentive to their emotional wellbeing, especially in balancing their role as caregivers and care givers at home and in the community.
