Abstract
La abeja del género Nannotrigona es una melipona con el aguijón atrofiado, está tiene
presencia en la región contando con varios estudios y metodologías técnicas para su manejo. En
el presente trabajo se realizó el establecimiento de dos colmenas del género mencionado
anteriormente en cajas racionales del modelo Embrapa, dispuestas en la zona de bosque
secundario y de cultivos de la granja agroecológica UNIMINUTO, suministradas por la empresa
Melipocumare, realizando un manejo y seguimiento, identificando la relación que tienen con la
planta Asystasia gangetica que se encuentra distribuida en mayor proporción en el área de
estudio. Definiendo así dos tratamientos: por colmena, con el propósito de observar directamente
y con cámaras celulares: "llegada y salida de las flores”, “Tiempo en las flores”, “Objeto del
pecoreo realizado en las flores” y “particularidades”, en horas específicas. Dando como resultado
que la abeja tiene dos formas de llegada, que son detrás y de frente de la flor. Donde la llegada
por néctar fue de un 70% y por polen un 30%, y los lugares con mayor cantidad de visitas son los
tratamientos del bosque, en comparación con los cultivos. Adicionalmente se identificó el género
como Nannotrigona y la especie como N. melanocera, la cual se encuentra reportada en el
Departamento del Meta. Se concluye que son diferentes los dos lugares y que la mayor actividad
está en la zona del bosque, existiendo una interacción directa entre la abeja de estudio y la A.
gangética, por ser dos especies nativas que se dan sustento conforme pasa el tiempo, siendo la N.
melanocera, un insecto atractivo para investigaciones en la región sobre la calidad y las
condiciones ecosistémicas.
The bee of the genus Nannotrigona is a melipona with an atrophied stinger, it is present in the region with several studies and technical methodologies for its management. In the present work, two hives of the above-mentioned genus were established in rational boxes of the Embrapa model, arranged in the area of secondary forest and crops of the agroecological farm UNIMINUTO, supplied by the company Melipocumare, carrying out a management and monitoring, identifying the relationship they have with the plant Asystasia gangetica that is distributed in greater proportion in the study area. Thus, defining two treatments: per hive, with the purpose of observing directly and with cellular cameras: "arrival and departure of flowers", "time in the flowers", "object of pecoration performed in the flowers" and "particularities", in specific hours. As a result, the bee has two ways of arrival, which are behind and in front of the flower. Arrival by nectar was 70% and by pollen 30%, and the places with the highest number of visits are forest treatments, compared to crops. Additionally, the genus was identified as Nannotrigona and the species as N. melanocera, which is reported in the Department of Meta. It is concluded that the two places are different and that the greatest activity is in the forest zone, there being a direct interaction between the study bee and A. gangética, being two native species that support each other over time, with N. melanocera being an attractive insect for research in the region on the quality and ecosystemic conditions.
