Abstract
Se entiende como poder político a la capacidad de conducir una sociedad y darle cabida a la toma de decisiones consientes que poseen los entes gubernamentales o funcionarios públicos encargados del Estado. Con base en lo anterior, se pretende analizar el poder político dentro de la comunicación en la campaña de 2023 a la alcaldía de Medellín de Federico Gutiérrez desde los canales Teleantioquia y Telemedellín, implementando las entrevistas como metodología de investigación junto a periodistas, televidentes y un abogado penalista quienes aportaron sus opiniones para tener como resultado el conocimiento del movimiento político del candidato mencionado anteriormente. Cerrando la investigación encontramos resultados muy favorables para la misma, ya que se pudo aclarar lo importante que es el poder político junto a los medios de comunicación en medio de las campañas electorales en general y que, junto a la aplicación de las metodologías, forman un grupo estratégico para lograr el objetivo principal establecido en una mesa de trabajo organizada anteriormente para cumplirlo.
Political power is understood as the ability to lead a society and allow for conscious decisionmaking by government entities or public officials in charge of the State. Based on the above, we intend to analyze the political power within communication in the 2023 campaign for the mayor of Medellín of Federico Gutiérrez from the Teleantioquia and Telemedellín channels, implementing interviews as a research methodology together with journalists, viewers and a criminal lawyer. Who helped us to gain knowledge of the political movement of the candidate mentioned above. Closing the investigation, we found very favorable results for it since we were able to clarify how important political power is together with the media in the midst of electoral campaigns in general and that together with the application of the methodologies they form a strategic group to achieve the main objective established in a previously organized work table to achieve it.
