Abstract
A documentary study was carried out to establish a program of risks associated with welding of CR CONSTRUCCIONES SAS. The objectives were to identify the causes of occupational accidents associated with welding, evaluate the impact that these incidents represent for the company and develop a risk prevention proposal. The results showed that ergonomic failures and poisoning by fumes and particulate matter are causing musculoskeletal disorders and health effects respectively. It was also evident that the company only complies with 17% of the regulations established in Decree 1072 of 2015, because it lacks documentary supports, verification formats, implementation, evaluation and improvement. Finally, a proposal for the prevention of risks associated with welding called SST-CRC-01 was designed.
