Abstract
El presente estudio, titulado nivel de estrés académico en estudiantes universitarios de último semestre de la corporación universitaria minuto de Dios sede Lérida de tipo cuantitativo-descriptivo, tuvo como propósito determinar el nivel de estrés académico en la población mencionada. La muestra fue determinada a través de un muestreo no probabilístico de tipo intencional, debido a que los participantes se seleccionaron basados en los criterios establecidos por las investigadoras. Dicha muestra estuvo compuesta por 38 estudiantes pertenecientes a las carreras de administración de empresas y psicología; a los cuales se administró el inventario SISCO SV-21 de Arturo Barraza Macías. A partir de los datos recolectados, se realizó un análisis básico de estadística descriptiva mediante el cual se logró caracterizar el nivel de estrés académico, los síntomas, los estresores y las estrategias de afrontamiento en los estudiantes universitarios de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, donde los resultados arrojados permiten afirmar que en general, los estudiantes universitarios de último semestre presentan un nivel de estrés académico severo debido a los diversos estresores a los que se enfrentan durante su formación profesional.
The present study, entitled Level of academic stress in university students of the last semester of undergraduate belonging to the Saturday and Sunday sessions of the university Corporación Minuto de Dios Headquarters Lérida of a quantitative-descriptive type, had the purpose of determining the level of academic stress in the mentioned population. The sample was selected through intentional nonprobabilistic sampling, since the participants were selected based on the criteria established by the researchers. Said sample was composed of 38 students belonging to the careers of business administration and psychology; to whom the SISCO SV-21 inventory of Arturo Barraza Macías was administered. An analysis of basic descriptive statistics was carried out to characterize the level of academic stress, symptoms, stressors, and coping strategies in university students of the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, where the results found allow us to affirm that in general, university students present a level of severe academic stress due to the various stressors they face during their professional training.
