Abstract
Este estudio fue diseñado con el objetivo de evaluar la relación de la educación financiera en la toma de decisiones de endeudamiento y uso responsable del crédito en jóvenes universitarios de UNIMINUTO. La metodología utilizada es de enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, se desarrolló por medio de un instrumento el cual se le aplicó a 170 estudiantes de carreras de pregrado de la universidad de manera aleatoria, mediante el cual los resultados se segmentaron en cuatro sesiones, la sesión de educación financiera para saber la percepción de los estudiantes sobre este tema, la sesión de evaluación del conocimiento financiero, la sesión de endeudamiento y crédito, y por último, la sesión de uso responsable del crédito; estas sesiones fueron luego analizadas mediante un software de análisis de datos conocido como Phyton, para así conocer el nivel de relación entre las variables. Se concluye así que el nivel de educación financiera tiene relación sobre el nivel de endeudamiento de los jóvenes universitarios, sin embargo, no hay que desconocer que también hay otros factores que influyen en el endeudamiento y uso del crédito.
This study was designed with the objective of evaluating the relationship of financial education in making debt decisions and responsible use of credit in young university students from UNIMINUTO. The methodology used is a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design, it was developed through an instrument which was applied to 170 undergraduate students at the university in a random manner, through which the results were segmented into four sessions. , the financial education session to know the students' perception on this topic, the financial knowledge evaluation session, the debt and credit session, and finally, the responsible use of credit session; These sessions were then analyzed using data analysis software known as Python, in order to know the level of relationship between the variables. It is thus concluded that the level of financial education has a relationship with the level of indebtedness of young university students; however, we must not ignore that there are also other factors that influence indebtedness and use of credit.
