Abstract
La presente investigación se planteó como objetivo determinar el impacto de la atención psicológica
virtual en la salud y bienestar laboral de las psicólogas de la Fundación Enlazando Vidas. La metodología
utilizada fue mixta, combinando entrevistas y la aplicación de una lista de chequeo para recopilar datos.
Los resultados mostraron que, aunque la atención virtual ofrece ventajas tales como la flexibilidad horaria
y la reducción de costos de desplazamiento para los pacientes, también presenta desventajas
significativas. Las psicólogas señalaron como factores que afectan su bienestar la sobrecarga laboral, el
aislamiento social, las dificultades técnicas y la falta de contacto físico con los pacientes como principales
desventajas. Los factores que contribuyen a la sobrecarga laboral incluyen el aumento de la demanda de
servicios, la extensión de la jornada laboral, la dificultad para desconectarse del trabajo y la falta de apoyo
y recursos. Para mitigar estos efectos negativos y mejorar el bienestar de las psicólogas, se propusieron
varias estrategias: establecer límites claros entre la vida laboral y personal, utilizar herramientas
tecnológicas de manera eficiente, fomentar el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración, promover el
autocuidado y buscar apoyo profesional en caso de estrés, ansiedad o burnout. Las conclusiones resaltan
que, aunque la atención psicológica virtual tiene beneficios, es crucial implementar estas estrategias para
mitigar sus efectos negativos
The present research aimed to determine the impact of virtual psychological care on the health and occupational well-being of the psychologists at the Fundación Enlazando Vidas. The methodology used was mixed, combining interviews and a checklist to collect data. The results showed that, although virtual care offers advantages such as flexible hours and reduced travel costs for patients, it also presents significant disadvantages. The psychologists identified factors affecting their well-being, including work overload, social isolation, technical difficulties, and the lack of physical contact with patients, as the main disadvantages. Factors contributing to work overload include the increased demand for services, extended working hours, difficulty disconnecting from work, and the lack of support and resources. To mitigate these negative effects and improve the well-being of the psychologists, several strategies were proposed: establishing clear boundaries between work and personal life, using technological tools efficiently, encouraging teamwork and collaboration, promoting self-care, and seeking professional support in case of stress, anxiety, or burnout. The conclusions highlight that, although virtual psychological care has benefits, it is crucial to implement these strategies to mitigate its negative effects. Recommendations included the implementation of these strategies by the psychologists, providing resources and support by Fundación Entrelazando Vidas, and the development of protocols and guidelines by institutions offering virtual psychological care to ensure the well-being of psychologists
